Welcome to AIB’s Knowledge-Sharing Network for Sustainability Scholarship
The AIB Sustainability Shared Interest Group (SIG) is a network of scholars dedicated to exchanging knowledge across the wide range of academic subfields related to international business, creating greater connectivity around issues of sustainability, and informing current IB theories, practices, and policies.
Fast Facts
In 2020 Professor John Dilyard (St. Francis College) and Associate Professor Shasha Zhao (University of Surrey) founded the AIB Sustainability SIG.
The Shared Interest Group attracted many AIB members for a short period of time. The AIB 2021 Annual Conference’s topic was dedicated to Sustainability and it also hosted a separate Conference Track on Sustainability for the first time. Presenters, panelists, and session chairs from this Conference Track continue to work together on common projects after the Annual meeting.
Since October 2021 AIB Sustainability SIG team has a Working Committee consisting of 11 Committee Officers.
On 4 November 2021 our leaders – John Dilyard and Shasha Zhao, were the Keynote speakers at AIB Oceania Chapter Annual Conference.
The AIB Sustainability SIG is looking forward to collaborating with the other AIB SIGs and Chapters, and creating history together!
