Video recording of the joint AIB Sustainability SIG and WAIB Webinar: Intersections of Sustainability and Diversity Webinar, which was held on 16 February 2022, is now available at the Academy of International Business website.
The webinar was jointly organized and moderated by the AIB Sustainability SIG Officer Sarah Ku (Georgia State University) and the WAIB Board Member Ha Nguyen (University of Vaasa).
We would like to express our gratitude to the presenters: Banu Ozkazanc-Pan (Brown University), Jennifer Oetzel (American University), and Maryam Yusuf (The Busara Centre) who provided their insights from academic and practitioners’ perspective.
They discussed the most promising overlap between sustainability and diversity, provided examples of projects about this intersection, in-house and cross-border diversity, developing sustainable strategy, overcoming behavioral barriers, contextualizing the approaches of implementing sustainability and diversity, MNE responsibility towards employees and customers, sustainability values which attract top talent among Millennials and Gen Z.
We are looking forward to more joint events and webinars between AIB Sustainability SIG and WAIB in the future.
